Dining and drinking makes the world go round, and NewActon offers a great selection that will tickle your taste buds - from Italian with homemade pasta and pizza, cafes with perfected coffee and freshly baked goods, to a library bar with drinks, drinks and more drinks. 2013 brings exciting times with Nishi slowly opening its doors and bringing a new range of food offerings, and NewActon Pavilion once restored will bring back Parlour Wine Room and a new bakery/bar.
Bicicletta
Bicicletta is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and serves up la cuccina italiana, specialising in housemade pasta and seasonal produce from different regions of Italy and Australia. Bicicletta is a venue that combines a deli, cellar, provedore and restaurant where friends and family can catch up while sampling food and beverages that reflect the season.

Diamant Lounge Bar & Library
Located on the ground floor of the boutique Diamant Hotel, Bicicletta Library Bar holds an impressive collection of spirits, Australian wines and a tapas style menu. Parlour Wine Room
Parlour Wine Room is currently undergoing reconstruction and will be back bigger & better in mid 2013. Parlour Wine Room is a wine and tapas bar offering an extensive and personalised selection of the finest wines from the Canberra region, Australia and the world. Also on offer as the perfect accompaniment to their wines is a seasonal menu of tantalising Spanish tapas (with an Australian twist). In the meantime, you could still enjoy your favourite Parlour cocktail at Knightsbridge Penthouse in Braddon.
Urbanfood Store + Café
Urbanfood Store + Café is an urban grocer with an in-house café. The café serves up delicious breakfasts, gourmet lunches and offers a variety of cakes and sweets throughout the day. In the drinks department, you can compose your smoothies and juices made from the freshest fruit, and deliciously brewed coffee and tea.

Močan & Green Grout
Močan & Green Grout is a cafe with a conscience. It serves fair trade coffee, sources produce from local farmers, composts its own waste and even grows vegies by the front door. The cafe fosters local and Australian art and design, regularly inviting artists to reinterpret and redecorate the space alongside handbuilt bicycles and other cycling goods by Močan brothers. Močan & Green Grout is an ethical cafe that’s just as much an art and lifestyle experience as a great place to meet.
